Are Shred Bike Care products made in Australia?

Yes 100%! Shred Bike Care products are made here in Melbourne, Australia. We are proud of this fact as we feel it’s important to support other Australian owned and operated businesses.

Are the Shred products biodegradable?

They sure are! We have worked really hard with the company that manufactures the products for us to ensure that the raw materials and the finished product had a very low impact on the world we live in, but still worked very well. We believe we have achieved these two things.

I live in a rural location with no mains sewer, are the products safe to go into a septic tank?

Great question! The short answer is yes they are, the long answer is a more complicated explanation, but you can be assured that our products when used in accordance with the instructions will not effect any biological balance in a septic tank system.

Are the products safe on all areas of my bike?

Our products are safe on carbon, alloy, anodized metals and painted surfaces. We just ask two things. Firstly that the products are used in accordance with the instructions on the bottles and particularly that the products are not left on in direct sunlight.

Is it ok to spray around disk brakes etc?

Yes you can spray around the disk brake area. We recommend rinsing thoroughly and drying off with an airline or clean rag.

Do I need to dilute the Shred Fast Wash Good to Go Product?

No, you can use this product without diluting with water. Only the Reload needs to be mixed with water.

Can I use a pump up sprayer to apply Shred product?

Yes, you can dilute the Reload product into a pumpdo I need to use a up sprayer, like you would use for weed killer and apply that way. If you have used the sprayer for anything else prior, please ensure its thoroughly washed out first.

How long should I leave the Shred Fast Wash cleaner on for?

We suggest leaving for a few minutes to allow the product to work properly, then rinse off thoroughly, but please remember not to leave in direct sunlight

My sprayer is broken, do you sell replacement ones?

Do I need to brush or scrub the bike when using your products?

This really depends on how dirty your bike is! Sometimes really ingrained soils and contaminants such as oil and grease might need a little agitation. Please use a clean brush and remember to rinse any brushes you use properly afterwards..
